October is Chiropractic Health Care Month in Illinois, due to a proclamation by Governor Pritzker in recognition that the first modern chiropractic adjustment was delivered in October of 1895. The purpose of naming this month, according to the proclamation, is "to raise awareness about chiropractic care."
In celebration of this month, Healthier Illinois has created a series of infographics that they've offered to share with our blog. As the month goes on, enjoy a new graphic each day!

This is an extraordinary month here at Johnson Family Chiropractic... with so much to celebrate! We're marking our 10th anniversary of chiropractic care, all in the same location on Prospect Ave. in Peoria. That's ten years of service, dedication, and stability, and hundreds and hundreds of patients treated.
Meanwhile, Governor Pritzker has proclaimed October to be Illinois Chiropractic Health Care Month, in honor of the first chiropractic adjustment being delivered 125 years ago in October of 1895 by D. D. Palmer, the discoverer of modern chiropractic. To celebrate our anniversary and good health, we'll post a special message from Healthier Illinois every day of the month. Here's the first one: |
